NEW! Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette: Review, Swatches & Comparisons!

Today's post features the newest addition to the Naked eyeshadow line by Urban Decay. This small but powerful palette of six mostly matte neutral shades was made to "supplement" the first two Naked palettes, which feature mostly shimmery shades.

OOTD: Colors of Autumn! 10/7/12

One of my favorite things about Autumn are the rich colors that spring up outside. Today's Outfit of the Day is inspired by all the burnt yellow, evergreen, gold, and berry colors of Autumn and centers around a mustard yellow military-style coat, riding boots, and a patterned scarf.

OOTN: 1920's Flapper Halloween Costume! 10/13/12

Today's outfit is a 1920's flapper: Halloween edition! I'm not one for scary movies and getting super spooked on Halloween, but I absolutely love dressing up and getting to be someone or something else for a night or two. I ordered a different costume, but it didn't arrive on time, so I had to put together a last minute costume for a Halloween party I attended earlier this month. I thought this would be a nice thing to share in case any of you are looking for a good last minute costume! 

This costume features the signature flapper fringe dress, red lips and makeup, and pearls!

Nail of the Day: Revlon Colorstay Velvet Rope!

Today's Nail of the Day features my new favorite dark red nail polish: Velvet Rope from the new Revlon Colorstay line!

NEW! Urban Decay Smoked Eyeshadow Palette: Review + Swatches!

It's no secret that I love Urban Decay shadows, so for today's post, we'll be taking a look at one of Urban Decay's newer palettes: the Smoked Palette! I held off on buying this for so long because, let's be real here, I don't need any more eyeshadows. That being said, I couldn't resist the rich browns, smokey taupes, and sultry jewel tone shades in this palette, so without further ado:

Today's Outfit of the Day centers around a pair of gorgeous mustard and blue Mary Jane color-blocked heels that I recently purchased and am so in love with! I didn't have any mustard yellow items in my wardrobe at the time, so I had to be a little creative with assembling this outfit.

When I first heard that e.l.f. was coming out with a Disney Villains collection for Fall, I was extremely excited! e.l.f. (or eyes lips face) is a cosmetic brand that offers some great, affordable beauty products. These palettes are new for Fall and were a little tricky to get a hold of, but definitely worth it! Each palette is tailored for you to be able to create an entire day and night look. The villains featured are the Evil Queen from Snow White, Cruella from 101 Dalmations, and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

Today's Outfit of the Day is very Fall inspired and features forest greens and golds. Elements of lace and pleated chiffon give the outfit a feminine feel, while glitter statement shoes turn up the glamour!

I really enjoyed using these shades over the summer, and felt they complimented many bright and neutral outfits.
