Today's Nail of the Day features two Essie polishes that I love pairing together for a deep aquatic vibe and which are very appropriate for this time of year!

Essie Dive Bar is a deep cerulean blue-green polish. There are subtle shimmers, and it has a violet duo-chrome that is really pretty, but doesn't translate well on the nails. On the nails, you just see this deep blue, almost inky color, that reminds of me of the ocean depths. It's dark and vampy for Fall and Winter, but it also has that extra depth being a dark teal.

I layered 1 coat of Essie's Luxe Effects polish in Stroke of Brilliance for a coordinated blue glitter accent nail. It was difficult to capture the sparkle on camera, but the nails look much more vibrant in person.
Dive Bar applied smoothly and was pretty opaque with just one coat, but I used two for thoroughness. I have been loving this combo lately, and it lasted for about a week before I noticed chipping.
